JORDAN RIVER COMMISSION

Jordan River Clean Up

Wells Fargo employees after doing an incredible job cleaning up a section of the Jordan River.

Thank you to Wells Fargo and Splore for the amazing job pulling trash out of the Jordan River on September 10, 2012 – in the RAIN no less!

Wells Fargo employees took to a fleet of canoes lead by the non-profit Splore, as part of their corporate community service program.  The group pulled out nearly 400 pounds of trash from the river, cleaning up a section regularly used by Splore in their canoeing program.

The group floated the river between 1700 South and 300 South, and from 100 North to 1700 North picking up trash, pulling shopping carts from the river, and learning about river and water quality protection.  Thanks to both Splore and Wells Fargo for helping improve the Jordan River corridor for us all.
