JORDAN RIVER COMMISSION

Invasive Species Removal

Invasive species are undesirable & noxious plants that use valuable resources and can out compete native species causing problems all along the corridor for trail users, wildlife, and the health of the river.

Volunteers are a valuable and efficient way to combat some of the invasive weeds on the Jordan River Parkway.

Depending on the time of year, volunteers can contribute to stewardship by pulling and bagging invasives and then reseeding areas to aid in habitat restoration.
