Governing Board Meetings

The Jordan River Commission Governing Board meets most months on theĀ first Thursday, at 10:00 AM. Meetings in July and December are usually not scheduled to allow for holiday breaks. There is also typically an off-site field trip in the spring and fall. And meetings may be adjusted during the Utah Legislature’s General Session in February and March.

The adopted 2022 Meeting Schedule is available to view or download here. This schedule is subject to change, and may be updated by the Governing Board periodically throughout the year as circumstances warrant.

Meetings have been resumed in person, though participants are asked to follow State of Utah and Salt Lake County local health department guidelines to minimize the spread and impacts of COVID-19. In-person meetings are currently held in the Education Center at the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District campus in West Jordan. Please follow the instructions below and check the agenda for specific information about the location for the meeting, and for instructions to join electronically.

Agendas are published at least 24 hours before a meeting at the Utah Public Meeting Notice site, and meeting recordings and other materials presented are generally available with 72 hours after a meeting. Adopted meeting minutes are typically available within 72 hours after they are adopted. From the Public Notice home page, select “Interlocal” under the Government heading, then select “Jordan River Commission” under the Entities heading, and then “Governing Board” under the Body(s) heading. Upcoming and recent meetings will be listed.
